Green Construction & Efficient Construction: Fully Bolt-Assembled Rigid Nodes for Steel Workshops
The core beam-column connection of the steel structure workshop is a rigid connection node, which is used to transfer vertical loads from the portal frame / multi-storey steel structure frame.
The key hub of horizontal wind load and earthquake action, the whole process strictly follows the "Construction Quality Acceptance Standard for Steel Structure" GB 502020-2020 and "Steel
Structure Welding Standard" GB 5066-2011.
In the steel structure processing plant, all components have been industrialized and prefabricated: the main body uses hot-rolled H-shaped steel columns, The H-shaped steel beam is formed
by CNC cutting, bevel milling, assembly, and submerged arc welding. After the components are corrected and ultrasonic / magnetic powder non-destructive inspection, the welds are ensured
to meet the first-class qualified standard.Based on BIM, the precise cutting and assembly of node connection plates and stiffening ribs are completed, and all connection holes are formed
by CNC drilling machine, eliminating the need for hole enlargement on site, and the hole position accuracy is strictly controlled within ±0.5 mm;After rust removal by sandblasting to Sa2.5
grade, the components are completed with anti-corrosion primer, The painting system of the intermediate paint and the surface paint is constructed, and some components are treated with
hot-dip galvanizing to meet the design anti-corrosion service life requirements. At the same time, the 1:1 pre-assembly of the chassis is completed in the factory, comprehensively verifying the
matching of component size and hole position, and ensuring zero rework on-site installation.
During the on-site installation stage, the steel column is first hoisted and positioned, and the verticality of the column is controlled by theodolites in both directions. The deviation is controlled
within h/100, and after the anchor bolt of the column foot is tightened, the positioning installation of the beam-column joint is carried out: the steel beam is hoisted into place, and the preliminary
fixation is completed by temporary positioning bolts, followed by the installation of the joint connection plate and the insertion of 10.9 grade hexagonal high-strength bolts, strictly in accordance
withThe construction process of "initial tightening → repeated tightening → final tightening" is implemented. The initial tightening torque is 50% of the final tightening torque. The final tightening
torque is strictly executed according to the calculated value of the design torque coefficient. The torque wrench is used throughout the process to ensure that the bolts are evenly loaded and the
node connection stiffness meets the requirements of rigid connection. At the same time, the inclined roof truss / column-to-column support members are connected to the column body with bolts
through special node plates, quickly forming a space anti-side force system, effectively improving the overall stability of the structure and resisting horizontal loads such as wind load and seismic action.
